Honor Council, Greek Life, Alcohol & Other Drug Education, Judicial Affairs, and Chaplains Association are all a part of the Dean of Students Office, which helps students take an active role in positively shaping our campus community. Education and student development can be seen throughout all of the work and efforts of the Dean of Students Office.
The Associate Dean & Social Worker coordinates a group of professionals to provide case management services to students who may be experiencing challenges related to mental health, physical health, social, adjustment or other issues
The purpose of the Student Affairs Crisis Coordinators (SACC) is to establish a swift and appropriate response to crisis situations affecting the health, safety, and welfare of University of Miami students.
The International Student Liaison (ISL) offers planning, assessment and evaluation of services, and advising to new, transfer, and continuing international students and international student organizations.
The Dean of Students Office can assist students with a range of support services and protective measures, including in cases where the student wants his/her identity to remain confidential.
Veteran Student Services provides support to the veteran student population for their successful transition from military service to campus life and beyond.
The Dean of Students may shorten the period of time disciplinary action remains active in a student’s file by allowing the student to participate in the Volunteer Activities Program (VAP).
