Councils and Chapters

Boasting 3000+ students in our 26 fraternities and sororities, UM’s Greek Life focuses on giving students real-life experience while networking along the way, whether it be through mentoring programs or alumni involvement.

Association of Greek Letter Organizations

The Association of Greek Letter Organizations associates the representatives of the Interfraternity Council, the Multicultural Greek Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc., and the Panhellenic Association for the purpose of promoting the interests of all social Greek fraternities and sororities at the University of Miami.

  • Comprised of the 26 recognized social fraternities and sororities on campus
  • Provides a forum for discussion between all four councils
  • Provides the Fraternity and Sorority Community programming throughout the year, including events such as Greek 101s, New Member Symposium, Greeks and Goblins, Leadership Conference, Greek Week, Apple Polishing Reception, the Annual Awards Banquet, as well as multiple on-campus events.

Greek Ally Unity

Greek Ally Unity exists to create a culture of acceptance, representation, and inclusion for all members of the Greek community at the University of Miami, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We aim to achieve this by facilitating coalitions, educational programs, and meaningful conversations surrounding LGBTQ issues in order to foster a welcoming environment between all fellow brothers and sisters.

Contact AGLO or the DEI chair for more information on how to get involved.
